A node in an animation’s node tree.

Animation nodes mirror the geometry node hierarchy but carry only base header data (name, node_number, controllers, children). They do NOT have type-specific extra data (mesh, light, emitter, etc.).

The node_number field maps each animation node to its corresponding geometry node so the engine can apply keyframes to the correct target.

Fields§

§name: String

Name of the node (matches a geometry node name).

§node_number: u16

Node number matching the corresponding geometry node.

§controllers: Vec<MdlController>

Controllers (keyframes) for this animation node.

§orphan_controller_data: Vec<f32>

Unreferenced controller data floats (key_count=0 but data_count>0).

§children: Vec<MdlAnimNode>

Child animation nodes.
